Free Range Chicken Eggs

Our hens are currently on vacation! Every Fall through Winter our hens take a natural break from egg laying until Spring.

Chickens need 14+ hours of sunlight a day to lay eggs, so as the Fall and Winter months bring less daylight, egg production stopes. Some farms choose to keep their hens laying through the short daylight months by using artificial light, but on our farm we choose to keep our hens happy and healthy by giving them the egg laying break they need.

Every Delta Tails Farms egg comes from a pasture-raised hen who enjoys roaming room in fresh pastures, with the freedom to forage for local grasses, succulents and wildflowers while enjoying fresh air and sunshine.

Each carton contains 12-Dozen Grade A chicken eggs.
